Acupuncture (RMT)

RMT acupuncture treats pain, dysfunction, stress, and more by interacting with your nervous system via very thin, solid needles to elicit relaxation and healing. treatments vary from the promotion of deep, peaceful restoration to more intense injury rehab.

Reiki Massage Therapy

reiki massage combines therapeutic touch with gentle energy rebalancing, allowing you to find a sense of equanimity in the comfortable presence of a safe, ethical practitioner. feel cared for with slow massage and broad pressure, and guided grounding and breathwork as necessary.

Thai Stretch Massage

thai massage (also known as thai yoga massage) is a massage modality where your therapist takes you fully clothed through passive stretching, acupressure, and mobilization. thai massage reduces tension and stress – but is particularly beneficial when you’re sore, achy, and generally stiff.

I’m a registered massage therapist, an acupuncture provider, and a reiki practitioner. My philosophy is the more tools I have, the better I can serve you.

I’m trained in trauma informed practice, mindfulness, meditation, and restorative yoga. I completed my full reiki training at the beginning of 2024 (Reiki III, sometimes called “master” level) and have been working on several trainings through Rainbow Health this past year on trauma consciousness and 2SLGBTQIA+ inclusivity & health. I am always learning.

My treatments don’t look like a traditional Swedish spa massage, rather they are focused on providing release and relaxation where you need and want it most. I love myofascial release, cupping, and assisted stretching, focusing on allowing your body to relax and release through long, sustained techniques.

I typically treat face-up as much as possible and almost always start in that position. From a physiological perspective laying on your back resets your spine, shoulders, and hips, and allows for easier breathing for most patients. From a psychological perspective being face-up lets you relax more easily with different techniques and stimuli, allowing you to tap into an orienting practice by looking around and seeing what’s happening when you need to so you can feel more comfortable and safe.

All my treatments – from intense injury rehab to barely-there stress relief – are focused on working with your unique nervous system. If you can’t relax during treatment, we can do all kinds of techniques and they may go nowhere.

Because rest is so important and relaxation can be incredibly difficult for a heightened nervous system, treatments can look like anything that makes you feel comfortable. Fully clothed? You got it. Seated? We’ll set up for that. With a support person present? Of course! Reach out if you have anything you’d like to discuss in advance.

At the end of the day manual therapy is incredibly personal, and I will always do what is best for my patients. My style may not work for you or I may believe you may make better progress with another therapist. In these cases, I can recommend other practitioners that may be better suited to your needs.
